Viognier is the exception in our wine range. It is our only single varietal wine with the Marsanne cuvée. Picked by hand in 15kg cases, the grapes are whole-cluster pressed and fermented in concrete tanks under temperature control between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius to keep maximum fruit expression. Only fifteen percent of the wine is fermented and aged in oak barrels to add some roundness and depth.
Our Viognier combines freshness to the typical notes of this grape: citrus fruits (grapefruit, orange peel) and also exotic fruit like mango and some floral notes. The mouth is pleasantly rich making this wine an excellent choice as an aperitif and a wonderful accompaniment to grilled fish and exotic salads.
